Flashback: John Edwards Sexiest PoliticianSeptember 21, 2007
In November 2000, People magazine named John Edwards as its choice for the "sexiest politician alive."Apparently that was the year that People Magazine went insane!
I can not really speak to sexiness of John Edwards, but do know a thing or two about sexy meals. Did you know breakfast actually makes YOU sexy? Eating breakfast helps keep you thin. (Researchers from the National Weight Control Registry, a database of more than 3,000 people who have lost at least 60 pounds and kept it off for an average of 6 years, found that eating breakfast every day was a weight control strategy for 78% of the people in the registry. People who kept off weight long-term also reported eating a low-fat diet and exercising for an hour or more each day.)

Couplo' questions:
Where exactly do we place our vote on here anyhow? Or is there no member's poll (vote) being taken?
Secondly and more importantly - Why on earth does the author of this section pick on Edwards so flipping much?
Note a peep about Fred Thompson that I've seen. (Talk about a box of rocks - - even Jessica Simpson could beat Thompson hands-down in a political debate!)
Love this website, love the recipes, the people who run it and the members, but I'm curious why the there is such an intense focus and negative infatuation with Senator John Edwards?
Personally, I haven't decided on a 2008 candidate yet, but out of the 17 or so total candidates running - Edwards would most definitely not qualify for the top of the "diss list".
Thank you Mr. Breakfast.

We do not need Hilard Clinton and I am not sure we are ready for Obama nor is he ready for us. I believe in John Edwards. A man that can get up there and talk about corporate power and greed as being what is wrong with this country has so much moxy. He has to know that that comment he made last night will hurt him because corporate America is so big. However, as the average person is America, I say we need to stand up against corporate America.
Also, I do not know how any politician can actually promise anything. They are not the ones that make things happen, they only sign the bill. You, Me, Us, Them - are the Americans that should be controlling what we want. The president is only the person who helps us get what we want. He cannot do it without US.
Personally, I believe that all the people in Washington working us us, the American people get paid way too much. There are many jobs held by average Americans that have the same importance to someone and certainly too their families. I do not believe that they need a second home in DC because they are there a lot. If they can afford a second home, on their own or on a salard they should be getting - find - get that house - BUT I feel that when they are in DC why not put them up in the barracks at the base and give them access to the Mess Hall for their meals. Their jobs are not unlike many of ours and they should not think they are above us by giving themselves such an outrageous salary, run up meal tabs at the cafeteria, which they have no intent to pay, etc.
Wish there was something I could do.
